SJSFTC “Uzprommashimpeks”
The State Joint-Stock Foreign Trade Company “Uzprommashimpeks” has begun its activity in January 1st, 1991 and operating in system of Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The company specialized in export of industrial and agricultural products, cotton-fibre and, as well as, in import of the different kind of techniques, technological equipment and other goods. Company’s annual turnover is over 350 mln USD and the geography of trade activity comprises more than 35 countries. The State Joint-Stock Foreign Trade Company “Uzprommashimpeks” is able to offer to the interested foreign companies the wide spectrum of high-quality products, made by the national producers: agricultural equipment, metal milling, cathodic cooper, cable-wire products, construction materials, technical fabrics, ready textile products, knitted cloth, cotton yarn, cotton-fibre, wheat, fresh and tinned fruit- and-vegetable products in wide assortment, dried fruit and vegetables and others. The company, during its activity process, successfully cooperates with the foreign companies and firms, leading banks and international financial institutions and also with the domestic enterprises-manufacturers of export-oriented products in realization of their goods and services to the foreign partner-consumers. The State Joint-Stock Foreign Trade Company “Uzprommashimpeks” invests its resources in creation of enterprises, which successfully operate in the domestic and world markets, including: Uzintertek Testing Services” (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), “UzExim” (Moscow, Russia), “Mashprominvest” (Kiev, Ukraine), “Urgut Golden” LLC and “SamGreyp” (Samarkand area, Uzbekistan). The company “Uzprommashimpeks” owns 7 regional cotton terminals in the areas of the republic, carrying out the acceptance, storage, discharging and shipment of cotton-fibre for export and domestic customers. Total simultaneous storage volume of cotton terminals is more than 100 thousand tons. SJSC “Uzprommashimpeks” annually exports about 300 000 tons of cotton-fibre and at present time is one of the biggest cotton-fibre exporters to the far and near abroad countries. Owing to presence of highly skilled personnel having big experience in international trade and foremost information technology, the company “Uzprommashimpeks” is able to act as the connecting link in establishing of long-term business contacts between the foreign companies and enterprises-manufacturers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. JSC “Uzinterimpeks” State Joint Stock Foreign Trade Company “Uzinterimpeks” was formed in 1991 and currently represents one of the dynamically developing companies in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main sphere of activity of the Company includes effecting of export-import operations, provision of intermediary and consulting services, attraction of foreign investments through creation of Joint Ventures both within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and abroad. JSC “Uzinterimpeks” has huge experience of working in the sphere of international trade and represents one of the biggest foreign trade companies of the Republic, with the turnover exceeding USD 500 million. Most of the turnover comprises cotton trade, annual export of which exceeds 300 thousand tons. The geography of exporting of cotton fiber by the company is comprised of the following countries and regions: - Eastern and South-Eastern Asia, more particularly China, South Korea, Bangladesh; - CIS countries, more particularly Russia; - European countries. Also the company has gained a huge expertise in exporting textile products, wheat, flour, fresh and tinned agricultural products, dried fruits and vegetables, products of chemical industry. The imported products are represented by modern technologies and equipments. The system of quality management of JSC “Uzinterimpeks” is certified on conformity to the requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2000. SJSFTC “O’zmarkazimpeks“ State Joint-Stock Foreign Trade Company “O’zmarkazimpeks” was established in 1998. SJSFTC “O’zmarkazimpeks” is an open state joint-stock company, which carries out its business activity on self-financing basis. The breakdown of the company’s authorized fund is the following: 51% - the state, 30%- legal entities, 19% - individuals. The company’s major activities are: - export of Uzbek cotton fiber; - export of cotton fiber processing products and other export-oriented products produced by enterprises of the republic; - export of soft grain and flour; - import of products for the purpose of satisfaction of domestic customers’ needs; - investment activity; - rendering of marketing and information services to enterprises of small-scale and private business, elaboration of effective schemes of export transactions’ financing. The company is one of the largest exporters of Uzbek cotton fiber. The turnover of the company is about 300 000 tons of cotton fiber annually. The company has settled relationships with all producers of cotton fiber on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and well-established partnership with international merchants. The membership of SJSFTC “O’zmarkazimpeks” in the International Cotton Association also promotes strengthening of the company’s authority in the world market. In order to provide more efficient services connected with accepting, storing and forwarding of cotton products to export, the company has established specialized cotton terminals in Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Navoi and Djizak regions with the total volume of one-time storage of 91.000 tons of cotton fiber. Along with the main business activity on management of cotton fibre export, the company is giving much attention to export of cotton fibre processing products and other export-oriented products produced by enterprises of the republic. Thus, in order to render practical assistance to textile enterprises as well as to attract foreign investments to the republic, the company is promoting export of products of such enterprises as JV “Beruniteks”, JV “Qorako’lteks”, JV “Asnam Textile”, JV “Tashkaya tekstil”, JV “Iskovutteks” and the others. Investments in real economic sector, i.e. production, are the basis for strategic existence of the company. At present, investments of the company represent share holdings, shares in capitals, and loans in different sectors of the national economy. |
